Days ago, I was introduced by friend a webpage about Harry Potter. So, I went to check out about it and then signed up as a member. By doing this, I am enrolled into Hogwartz where I can start as a student there. However, enrolling doesn’t mean you are sorted into any school yet. You have to write in a form about yourself so that the Sorting Hat can sort you into the school that fits your personality based on what you have written. Then, you have to wait for a day or so for the result. At that time, you’ll be able to identify your blood type as well like whether you are a Muggle-born, pure blood or mixed blood. Like real life, you have to eat to sustain your life and you are given 1000 galleon to spend on anything. It is really interesting as you have the chance to experience the magical world of Harry Potter, though it is not real.

My friend is sorted into Hufflepuff as she is very hardworking. However, she’s not happy about it and complained to me because like I, we are hoping to be in Gryffindor. Thus, when i wrote about myself, I was extra careful with the words so that by chance I can get into Gryffindor. I wrote that I like Hermione Granger and Professor Dumbledore because they are brilliant and brave. I purposely wrote the word ‘brave’ as Gryffindor is renown for its bravery. The next day I talked about the content I wrote to her and she said probably I’ll be sorted into Hufflepuff as well as the content is quite similar to hers. Okay, Hufflepuff to me is still fine, just don’t sort me into Slytherin, which I hate the most.

With hopes today I went to check the status. So, I was clarified as a Muggle-born. Fine, still fine to me, since I’m really a Muggle. Then my eyes turned to the events to look for my school. " You are sorted into S-L-Y-T-H-E-R-I-N." Oh my!!! My heart broke into pieces instantly and I got mad at it. I just could not believe my eyes. I reread and rechecked the statement for thousand of times but there it is, a Slytherin.. How could it happen??? I just can’t accept it, me being into Slytherin. I think it must be because I wrote ‘I like mysterious stories’ that sort me into Slytherin. Think of it, I’m being in the same house as Malfoy, the stupid, arrogant boy who has a Death Eater as his father. Moreover, it is the school that Severus Snape, Voldemort and other notorious and discreditable people attended. A dark-magic school, and I am sorted into the school. T_T Why is it so??? I don’t think I’m that kind of person who will turn to the dark side of the world but now sorted into Slytherin, so contradicting.

This post is written with a broken heart…

I went canoeing this afternoon. It is my first time being on a canoe. The activity is held at the lake behind the boys’ hostel. I only got to know about this activity last few weeks and yet I’ve been here, at this campus for more than a year. (-_-") Well, there were six of us who went there to try out canoeing at campus. It only costs each of us RM 1 per trip, and we can canoe as long as we want. I took the back seat while my friend took the front. We started off quite well and I should say we are considered technically good for our first time ^-^ We even figured out the techniques quite fast, after several trials. Gorgeous, right? :p We went around the lake, enjoying the scenery, though not much difference with any other lakes in the campus. We even decided to go canoeing every Wednesday, but soon this thought is being questioned. When the time we were enjoyed seeing our friends canoeing, there was a sudden cried out from one of the friends. At first, we thought it’s only because they crashed with other canoe but soon we were proved wrong. They saw a white, enormous, round thingy passed by their canoe and the first glance suggested them that it is a snake. Though later we walked on foot around the lake to check, hoping by mistake it is a log, but we were unable to detect anything. We told the people incharged there but they just took it easy by saying there are a lot of snakes around the campus. They never think of the seriousness of this matter and the hazard of it. They even told us not to tell anyone about this so that they can keep on earning money. Although we are not exactly sure that there is a snake in the lake but at least the incharged party should take some actions on this matter. I wonder should I still go to canoe next Wednesday to check out on the lake again??? Sigh~
