All about my world

First day…

Finally loaded to my blog. What a slow connection….  *headache with it*

One paper finished today, don’t wanna think too much about it. Two more papers coming, all in this week, wednesday and friday. How i i wish they pass quickly. They are making me crazy and very miserable (i think actually making all ‘ki siao’ lar)…

Even worse, i nearly had a car crash, me being the one almost crashing into poeple’s car (not crashing so severe lar, almost ‘kissed’ the car in front nia lar). Luckily Lala Chong was beside me and able to stop me immediately from kissing people’s car. Phew…. Or else, i would have to call it a very very very unlucky day, having defeated by the paper earlier and accidentally hurt myself before taking the paper…

Hopefully, all these *small* unlucky things are leaving me and giving me better time for the rest of the week…

To you and to me, ganbatte!!!!

So, where to eat?

Yesterday browsed through a web, named akiraceo, a very nice one. Found this through charlie bug’s blog, thanks for sharing such a nice web, X)

So why am i mentioning this web?

Haha, because in one the posts there, the everyday question was mentioned.

So what’s the everyday question? —-> Where shall we eat?

i face this problem everyday too, just like akiraceo. Everytime i go out with the gang, i throw out this question and insist on getting an answer for it before i reach the big gate of USM. You may wonder why would i insist on getting a reply before reaching the big gate. It’s as simple as i can directly turn to the left or to the right when i reach the gate. i don’t have to wait until the moment reaching the big gate only decide which way to turn to.

Where to eat? It’s a very simple question yet very hard to get a reply or answer for it. So somehow after rounds of repeating the question, the driver has to decide, just as akiraceo ( i don’t really face this problem, coz i ask the gang to answer in turn everyday)…haha

Then, another everyday question pops up. To me, it only happens during study week. Usually after lunch, either me or my lui lui will ask : what shall we eat for dinner? This might sound nothing to you guys, but the problem is, this question is asked RIGHT AFTER the lunch, not few minutes before dinner, but few minutes after lunch. It’s very funny why we care about what to eat so much, while there are not much good food here. Back at home, i ask this question to my mum either, but it’s due to the curiosity of what she’s going to cook for the family, the dishes might be of a great variety. However, here, the question asked is because of having no idea what to choose from, coz there are only these few places and almost a place is visited at least twice a week. So gradually, we grow bored on food. This is another reason why i go home every weekend…. lol…

So what to have for tonight?

i’ll just leave it to lui lui lar, since most probably she’s going to be the driver tonight. XP

Great Experience!

Just came back from Southern Steel in Prai Industrial Area. i would say, the visit is just great and fantastic.. Although some time before the visit i have this idea of not going, but luckily, i chose to “relax” myself a bit by going along. The visit around the plant was not really long, it just took approximately one and a half hour to walk around the production plant. We were first welcomed with a short speech by the general manager, who is quite humorous. After splitting into two groups, we headed to the melting furnace with helmet, mask and a green yellowish shirt on. Woah, the production line is REAL hot!!! We were quite near to the DC furnace, seeing the reddish, bright slag at the bottom of the furnace. Brief explanation on the furnace was given before we went to the air-conditioned control room for clearer view of the whole furnace. Ha, the control room is really so much better and comfy!!! Down there near the furnace, we were so hot and couldn’t really breathe, sort of suffocating with the mask on…

After the furnace, we went on to the part where hot metals are removed from the furnace and heading for further process. They go through refining before going to the laddle part. The products are in billet form. We even watched the cooling process of the billet shape hot metals. These billets will then go through second processing, either rolling or turning into deformed bars.

The cooled billets are sent to the rolling part and remelted. After that, they go through the rolling machines to shape them into wire rods. The rolling machines are cooled with water to prevent overheating. The roller speed depends on the wire rod requirements. The speed is fast for thinner wire rods, when i said fast, it’s super FAST!!! i forgot the real figure but it’s really, really fast… After rolled, they will go through this machine where they are turned into coil shape. It’s very marvellous to witness how they are turned into coils.. Fantastic view~ i especially like the scene where they are turned into coil shape when they are still hot. They are bright reddish and the scene is too beautiful to be described here. Really……. impressive~~~

After photo session, we headed to Juru Autocity before coming back to campus. McDonald’s is suddenly flooded, by us…haha… We also went to Secret Recipe next door to buy cakes….Yummy yummy…. (i’m enjoying my fries right now, and will come to the Spicy Chicken McDeluxe soon…. hehe XP)

Well, the whole trip ended when we reached campus around 5.15pm. Though i might face the possibility of not able to finish studying for the three papers next week, but overall, it’s a great experience and this is very different from what we get through books. This is so practical that you really see the things and understand them, better than just imagining the process. This is something really different and there’s not much chance of visiting a steel plant (zero possibility if we didn’t insist on going this time), unless you wanna work there. Haha~ So, it’s really a magnificient experience!!!

Well, i have to stop here to enjoy my mouth-watering SCM before continue with the notes that i have lagged so much…

APEX

So, when the university is known as APEX university, what do you expect from it?

The answer is simple,

·         no more disgusting flies (they are really irritating)

·         mo more cats in the café and hostel (they are so ENORMOUS and dirty)

·         no more lousy lecturers, at least don’t pretend they are superb professional APEX lecturers asking us to act like an APEX student while they don’t  (some are so fake , actually is one so far, by asking us to honestly evaluate them but really mind and keep on grumbling about it when we only gave her ‘memuaskan’)

·         better laboratory equipments (even my secondary school basic laboratory equipments are so much~ better, the least they won’t ask us to use toilet paper as the salt bridge in an electrochemical cell)

·         better café food ( when the standard of university is upgraded, please upgrade the food quality also but not the price. We already have enough of bad food at such a high price)

·         build more car parks. ..the one at the hostel has such a low number of car park lots, while the vehicles keep on increasing and increasing.. and don’t simply give warning or fine to cars not parked at the proper place when it’s the university management’s fault

·         no more stupid rules like : don’t pakai baju adik when they themselves can’t wear such clothes

·         no more flooded area after heavy rains (it really sucks)

·         no more jamuan-jamuan thing when they are trying to save money by asking us to print timetable, exam slip on our own and etc.

·         no more lousy lecture rooms that give out hot air

and the most IMPORTANT thing is, upgrade the wireless network connection!!!! You already don’t want to fix my room’s port or the LAN thingy (whatever it is called), please make the wifi an APEX standard. Don’t let it keep on being so UNSATBLE…. It’s really really horrible and awful being not able to go online, because of this useless, stupid sh*t network.

PLEASE~~~ provide a stable, useful and great wireless network connection. We will be so thankful….

Random crap

” To remind you, you have not updated your blog for a few days already. ”

Due to this simple message from a friend, so here i am.

And i told my daughter i’ll post about her dream here.

The thing is, i have nothing special to write and regarding the dream, i just don’t know how to put it. It’s so weird and geli~ i really don’t know why she would dream such a thing…. ( don’t blame me for telling you what other people thought of me that night XP )

Well, actually, if that happens on somebody else, i won’t feel anything, i mean, won’t feel disgusting or whatsoever. But if this happens on me, eew~  can’t imagine and don’t want to imagine either. Anyway, i’m pretty sure it won’t happen on me, at least i’ll always try my best to resist this….

So, the final exam season is here again. i have four papers to take, where three in the first week and the last paper falls on 23rd of April. Right after the final exam, i’ll be going for internship in Bukit Minyak, a 10 week-industrial training. But what’s most important is, my younger sis is coming back around mid May or early June!!! Miss her so much, though just talked to her on the phone yesterday (barely talked lar, coz i was driving and my mum held the phone with the loudspeaker on). Just to tell you, sis, many plans are awaiting you. Everything i suggested to mum was on hold. She said need to wait until you come back then only carry out the plans… So, see, how important are you, dear sis?? haha…

To tkf, sorry for not making this post interesting, but the least i have updated my blog.

To my lui lui, sorry for not writing the dream down here, cause i really don’t know how to write……kekeke

To my dear sis, countdown to your home returning starts..

To friends who read my blog, all the best and good luck in the final exam….
